I grew up in Cortez, and later pursued my passion for hospitality and service at Metro State University in Denver, majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management. My career took me through Denver’s vibrant restaurant scene, managing establishments that ranged from fine dining with live opera to innovative culinary experiences, and then into hotel management in Florida.

In 2015, my heart called me home to Cortez, where I’ve since immersed myself in our community. From supporting local farms and businesses to enjoying the Southwest’s hiking trails, hot springs, and outdoor adventures, I love all that our region offers. As a devoted “Mimi” to my grandson, Alex, I cherish the chance to share our beautiful home and community with the next generation.
